“ My girlfriend and I discovered this small hidden gem in the middle of San Jose. We got a pastrami #7 with everything on it with peppers on the side. It was incredible. The bread was perfection, the pastrami was delicious, and the ratio was perfect. Truly one of my favorites. 10/10 will come again! ”

“ One of my favorite places to stop by for lunch! Stopped by to get 4 sandwiches today. Line always moves super quick, and Tony's aura and energy is unmatched. The cashier always makes it a wonderful experience. Sandwiches are served on freshly made, hot sourdough. Would definitely recommend my order of spicy salami and spicy turkey (today's special) combo with avocado. The place is cash only, with an ATM. 6 tables inside, which ample seating outside on a FCFS basis. Parking available is paid street parking or the parking garage a block over. Usually closed on holidays. ”
“ Although this is a cash only business and it may be an inconvenience since a lot of us rely on Apple Pay/card the subs are SO delicious. My go to is the #1 and I add avocado to it, I eat half of it during my lunch (they are HUGE) and the other half later on or even the next day for lunch again. ”

It's just street parking for the most part so if it's lunch time and busy, you might be hard pressed to find a spot but it's worth it. The line can get long but it moves really quickly and note that it's cash only. They have an ATM inside if you need to use it before you order your sandwich. I've had a bunch of different sandwiches and they've all been delicious. Honestly, anything that you get between their bread is going to be good. It's warm, crusty on the outside but soft enough to bite through without the roof of your mouth getting tore up. “ Fresh sourdough bread deli sandwiches, set price, comes with a pickle, cash only. This place is modeled exactly the same as California Sourdough on Murphy Ave/Oakland Rd. I'd be surprised if these 2 places weren't related. I got the #14 Pastrami and Turkey with everything. Excellent sandwich and very substantial amount of food. I will say the bread was not as fresh as when I had it at California sourdough. I also felt like the sandwich construction here was not up to par. Still really good though! I'll definitely go here if it's convenient. ”
